GREENVILLE, N.C. — The Yard Gnomes will host a Fan Fest and One-Year Ribbon Cutting Celebration on May 22 at Guy Smith Stadium, inviting fans and the community to commemorate the team’s first anniversary. The event will take place from 4 to 7 pm, with a special ribbon cutting ceremony presented by the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber at 4:30 pm
The celebration offers fans the opportunity to meet the team’s new ownership and staff, reconnect with returning coaches, and get autographs and photos with players. The team’s mascot, Gnomeo, will be on hand to entertain guests and pose for photos.
“We’re proud to celebrate the Yard Gnomes first year with the community and introduce the new leadership team,” said John McCormick, General Manager. “This event is a great opportunity for fans to meet the owners, coaches and players who are shaping the future of Yard Gnomes baseball, and to kick off an exciting season together. We can’t wait to celebrate together!”
In addition to meeting the team, fans of all ages will be invited to participate in on-field activities, including batting practice and playing catch on the field.
The event is free and open to the public, with festivities designed to engage fans, families and baseball lovers of all ages.
