GREENVILLE, N.C. — Lee Kia of Greenville and the Greenville Yard Gnomes have partnered with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina to launch a holiday food drive aimed at supporting families in need throughout the region.
Community members are encouraged to drop off nonperishable food or hygiene items at the Lee Kia dealership, located at 615 Greenville Blvd. SW, Greenville, NC 27834, during regular business hours. Donors will be entered to win one of several prizes, including a free car wash, Yard Gnomes game tickets or game-used equipment.
Items most needed by the food bank include canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, canned beans, pasta, rice, cereal, paper products and hygiene items. All donations will support the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina’s extensive regional network.
“Lee Kia and the entire Lee Motor Group place the duty of serving our communities at the top of our priorities,” said Jessica Griffin, Director of Marketing for Lee Motor Group. “ The Lee Kia family is excited to partner with the Greenville Yard Gnomes to collect essential items for our local NC communities, which we know is needed now more than ever. We sincerely hope to continue this for years to come.”
The food bank serves communities through more than 700 pantries, no-cost markets, meal sites and delivery programs, ensuring food donations reach local families as quickly as possible. Its mission is simple but urgent: Together, we’re working to overcome hunger.
“We’re grateful for the chance to support an organization that directly impacts our neighbors,” Yard Gnomes General Manager John McCormick said. “Coming together as a community is what the holidays are all about.”
The holiday food drive is open now, and donations will be accepted throughout the holiday season.
The Yard Gnomes are preparing for their third Coastal Plain League season, which begins in late May 2026. The team’s schedule, ticket plans and player announcements will be released throughout the offseason. Fans can follow the Yard Gnomes on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook for updates.
