Greenville, N.C. – The Yard Gnomes coast by the Greensboro Ducks in a Fourth of July showdown. Nick Palmi led the way for Greenville with three RBIs on three hits.

Nick Palmi opened the scoring for Greenville in the bottom of the second with a single to deep right to plate Michael Kalinich. David Lillis followed by scoring off a Greensboro error.

The Yard Gnomes added another run in the third when Holden Pantier scored off a sac fly.

Carter Dulin put the Ducks on the board in the sixth, scoring off a wild pitch.

Greenville would erupt for 13 runs in the final two innings to put the game out of reach. Highlighted by a Jake Bilski two RBI single, Andrew Hansen RBI single for his first at bat of the season and Pantier solo homerun to left center.

Luke Cannon earned the win allowing zero runs with two strikeouts in two innings of work. Zai Graves recived the loss allowing nine runs off five hits in 2.1 innings of work.
