Macon, Ga. – The Greenville Yard Gnomes dropped their third straight game Tuesday night, falling 6–2 to the Macon Bacon at Luther Williams Field. Eli Stephens led the charge for Macon with two hits, an RBI, and a run scored.

Macon (1–4) struck early, as Austin Lemon crossed the plate in the first inning on a wild pitch. The Bacon added to their lead in the third when Aiden Arriaga scored on an error, and Levi Ham brought home Kolt Myers with a sacrifice fly to make it 3–0.

Greenville (0–3) responded in the fourth. Collin Hughes scored on a throwing error by the catcher, and David Lillis followed with an RBI single to bring in Corey Berry, cutting the deficit to 3–2.

The Bacon answered back in the late innings. In the seventh, Josiah Rodriguez delivered a two-run single, scoring Lemon and Myers. Stephens capped the scoring in the eighth with a solo home run to push the lead to 6–2.

Christian Donaldson earned the win for Macon, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts and just one hit allowed. John Locurto took the loss for Greenville, giving up three runs (two earned) over three innings.
