GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Coastal Plain League has announced that Greenville Yard Gnomes pitcher Quinn Holt has been named to the All-CPL Second Team.
Over the course of the season, Holt posted a 2-3 record with one save, while compiling a 2.89 ERA and 31 strikeouts across 28 innings pitched. Opposing hitters managed just a .210 batting average against him.
Holt also showcased his dominance on a big stage at the CPL All-Star Game in Macon, Georgia. Entering in the sixth inning, he struck out all three batters he faced with a fastball that consistently reached between 95 and 97 mph. The performance earned him recognition as CPL Pitcher of the Game.
“I’m pumped for Quinn. He competed every time out, and we could always count on a quality outing from him,” Yard Gnomes manager Jack Schaffer said. “We’re excited for him to get more recognition for his accomplishments this summer.”
The Greenville Yard Gnomes, members of the Coastal Plain League, recently completed their second season. Season ticket information and the 2026 schedule are expected to be announced in the coming month.
