As the Greenville Yard Gnomes close the door on the 2024 season, they open the door to a new season of Yard Gnomes baseball. Today the Greenville Yard Gnomes and the Coastal Plain League (CPL) announced the full 2025 league schedule, with the Gnome Opener scheduled for May 30th, 2025 against the Holly Springs Salamanders. 

The Gnomes’ 2025 CPL campaign features 48 total games including 24 home games. Greenville will likely develop a big rivalry with the Morehead City Marlins and the Peninsula Pilots as they face off 10 and 9 times respectively. The Yard Gnomes and their crosstown rivals, the Wilson Tobs, will face off 8 times. The 2025 campaign also features 5 games against the West Division of the CPL when the Gnomes face off against the Macon Bacon, Forest City Owls, High Point-Thomasville HiToms, and Martinsville Mustangs.
