Three Yard Gnomes represented Greenville with standouts performances at the Coastal Plain League All-Star festivities.
Sunday – Home Run Derby
Jon Howard represented the Yard Gnomes with power at the plate, blasting five home runs in the opening round to advance to the semifinals. He added another in the second round to cap off a strong derby performance.
Monday – All-Star Game (East 6, West 0)
All three Yard Gnomes suited up for the East squad in a dominant 6-0 shutout win. Greenville Head Coach Jack Schaffer was also on staff, coaching first and third base throughout the game.
- Jesse Ponce (DH): 1-for-1 with a single to right and a run scored.
- Jon Howard (1B): 1-for-1 with a single to center and a walk.
- Quinn Holt (P): Delivered a flawless sixth inning with 3 strikeouts on 11 pitches—all strikes. Holt sat comfortably at 95-97 mph, coming just one pitch shy of an immaculate inning.
